SeQent’s Industrial Visualization System Platform Integration provides a bridge between AVEVA System Platform alarms and Marquee Manager Server. This bridging enables System Platform projects to be used as a source of Andon events. Various routing rules can be defined by selecting System Platform alarms that have been configured in your System Platform project. When one of these Andon routing rules is met, message text can be dispatched to your Marquee Manager Server, including embedding alarm and point values within the message text.
Wildcard configuration of alarms allows for a very small ruleset to accurately route hundreds or thousands of alarms with very little configuration. Using this methodology for a Lean Manufacturing Andon implementation, the existing investment in data collection and alarm development in System Platform can be leveraged. Integrated directly into the System Platform environment, the Marquee Manager Gateway for System Platform facilitates very rapid Andon implementation and deployment.
