SeQent’s Motorola Solutions integration connects plant-floor alarm and event notifications directly to your existing MOTOTRBO two-way radio infrastructure. It ensures that operators, maintenance, and safety teams receive text or audio alerts instantly.
The World’s Only Native Alarm-to-Radio Integration
SeQent’s software interfaces with MOTOTRBO radios (XPR, R7, Ion, and other model tiers), MOTOTRBO Repeaters (DR3000, SLR5500, SLR800), or WAVEPTX smartphone interoperability to transmit real-time notifications triggered by SCADA, PLCs, and other OT systems. Messages are sent via text to individual subscribers with a screen and text-to-speech audio to channels or talkgroups (no screens required).
Configuration
- Work with SeQent and a Motorola Solutions dealer to review requirements for each radio topology: Direct, Conventional, IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Linked Capacity Plus, or Capacity Max
- Install and configure SeQent’s software to support text or audio integration
- Map alarm notifications to radio recipients or talk groups
- Acknowledge alarms remotely (even with gloves on!)
